Sussex cosmetic dentist Dr Sobia Butt BDS (Liverpool)
Another graduate from the University of Liverpool, Dr Sobia Butt is another of our exceptional team dentists. She received a personal letter of commendation from the head of the clinical dental sciences department due to her perfect treatment of nervous and dentally challenged patients. She is one of the few who gained the highest marks in the behavioural sciences and paediatric examinations and that led her to go into the orthopaedics and the orthodontics field.
She has had the privilege to train with Dr Skipp Truitt who is known to be one of the most influential men in dentistry. This has helped Sobia to take current USA concepts and use them in her practice. One such concept is the fact that both children and adults alike do not need teeth extracted or braces if the problem is found early enough and treated promptly enough too.
It was in 2005 that Sobia finished her vocational training and after that she trained in dental teeth whitening. Dr Chris Orr recommended Dr Sobia for the advanced dentistry programme as well as the recent concepts in periodontal soft tissue and disease management programmes. She went on to complete these programmes in 2006.
Some of the procedures which Dr Sobia has learnt through her training and experience includes Cerec 3D, teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns, shade mapping and advanced restorative dentistry.
Once cosmetic dentistry had been fully covered by Sobia, she then decided to study rejuvenation which included the head and neck area. Both deep and fine wrinkles can be removed, leaving a smoother, more youthful appearance. Tension headaches and migraines can also be treated through non-invasive treatments using botox and dermal fillers.
