Dentist & Hygienist Updates

Following the Coronavirus pandemic, a number of things have affected how we live and work. The change in lifestyles we must adopt to ensure our family and friends stay safe have unfortunately necessitated some change in our clinical team. We are currently subject to new working hours and have restrictions in place, but will hope to return to normal working hours in the future where possible.

From August 2020, Dr Charles Brandon will unfortunately be reducing his clinical days at S3 Dental. He has penned a short statement below for his patients.

“It has been a pleasure to work with you over the last three years and it has been a great joy to provide care to everyone. Due to commitments elsewhere in life, i am having to reduce my days at S3 Dental. Whilst i will continue to work at this prestigious practice, i will no longer be providing NHS Dental Services and will be offering only private dentistry.

For those who are either already registered with me privately or who wish to register with me to continue your care under a private basis. I will be glad to continue to work with you. For those who wish to continue to be seen under the NHS, i could not be more understanding. I will ensure that you are see by one of my trusted colleagues who will be able to continue your care within the practice.

As always, all the very best

Charlie.”

It has been a personal pleasure to watch Charlie grow and develop as a clinician, and as some of you may recall, he was personally selected by myself to take over my NHS patient list when i made the move to private clinical care. For those patients wishing to continue their clinical care with Dr Charles Brandon, our reception team will be on hand to discuss this with you and make the necessary changes, so that when we resume dental examinations in the near future, you will be booked in accordingly.

Dr Junade Mirza & Dr Amy Anfilogoff will be taking over the clinical care of Charlie’s NHS patients and just as i assured all patients at the time of Charlie joining us, i am confident of the wonderful clinical care they will also provide.

I am pleased to announce the addition of a new team member - Lucy Neshan, as our new dental hygienist and dental therapist.

Lucy joined us recently on our reopening following lockdown protocols, and we have had a fantastic response to her wonderful clinical care.

She is incredibly passionate about her work, very through in the delivery of oral health improvement measures and i am very confident that patients visiting her for hygiene services will not only have a positive experience, but also see an improvement in their oral health.

I wish you all good health, a prayer for those of you having lost loved ones during this difficult time, and look forward to seeing you all back at S3 Dental in the near future.

Yours sincerely

Dr Sami Butt - Principal Dental Surgeon
